Miracle and Healing Convention London 2009 was one like no other. God had already told us that he would do exceedingly above all our expectations. Our expectations were indeed high and He God, as His manner is, went a step further and made heads swim at the extent of His Faithfulness. Reverend Arome Adah always says that, “the key to success in all areas of life and ministry is just doing what God has asked you to do”. God asked us to hold Miracle and Healing Convention London 2009 on our own, without partnering with any church or ministry in the U.K. God did it. All the needs were met on the first day of the convention. Hallelujah! Glory to God!
Despite negative statistics that people do not respond to invitations communicated through flyers and handbills, members went round distributing flyers in and around the London area a week to the programme, believing God for supernatural publicity. God answered as more people in attendance testified of having received invitations on various websites like Facebook etc.
On Thursday 25th, Shoreditch Town hall opened up its doors to receive attendants at 5pm. After setting up, the programme started kicked off early at 5:30pm with a session prayers led by Miss Pamela Ayodele who is resident in U.K. Pastor Eben Mosugu all the way from Nigeria thereafter took the stage and led us on a chase for God. The Holy Spirit did not disappoint, the Glory of God fell mightily as the power packed congregation gave themselves to worshipping this God who reigns over all.
Rev Arome Adah came on and testified of God’s unflinching goodness. He had promised to remind the devil of his helpless inability to stop Savannah Ministries from holding three powerful Miracle and Healing Conventions back to back in: Port Harcourt Nigeria 30th-31st May; Abuja Nigeria 3rd-7th June; and London U.K 25th-27th June. THE VICTORY WAS SURE AND THE RACE WAS SWEET.
The presence of God was so strong and kept increasing as Rev. Arome Adah expounded the scriptures so much that people who desired healing in their bodies were asked to come forward for hands to be layed on them. People responded in faith and great signs and wonders were wroth in the mighty name of Jesus. The programme concluded at 8pm.
The second the day of the programme was not to be out done on any account as the sun was still high in the sky even as people trouped in at 6pm. God told us in the joint prayer meeting that the ‘anointing would come upon us in truckloads’ and that’s exactly what happened as prayers started at 6:30pm led by Pamela Ayodele. Pastor Eben Mosugu led worship and Rev Dominic Gusah taught God’s word.
In his trademark illustrative style he released the life of God to us from 2 Corinthians3:18. He told us that God’s word like a mirror describes us and our life style according to God’s kind of life style, so what is important in life is we just agreeing with what He has said about us. It’s a ‘Grace Package’ he said, ‘that if we believe all His benefits today the anointing will work as Jesus paid the price’. Isaiah53:1-4.
